Preparations to Painting (Male Peg)

Here's a quick tutorial. I'll be teaching you on a technique on preparing your Gunpla for painting. The thing is, after we snap build our gunpla, and we plan on painting it, we need to disassemble it right? But we don't want to damage our Gunpla during disassembly. So here's what we do.
This should be done during our snap build of our Gunpla.

So here we have a Part with male pegs. Male pegs are those that connect to the female holes on another part of our Gunpla. What we need to do here is trim it a bit. Look at the image below

It's up to you whether you'd like to use a hobby knife, side cutters or a metal file. Basically, we need to trim the Male Peg according to the red lines I've indicated. Here's the result:

What this does is it lets us disassemble our Gunpla safely but providing us with enough grip that it would still stay together. Doing this would make disassembly of our Gunpla a breeze in preparation for painting.
