Easy Disassembly

Hello Gunpla Meisters! Here's a quick tutorial for you. Did you forget the polycap during snap fitting your Gunpla? Or do you need to disassemble your kit for painting or other reasons? Well, here's an easy way of disassembling your kit without damaging the kit or hurting your fingers.

*I got this tutorial from Gunplacore, so credits to the OP*

I suggest that you also refer to my other tutorial on Preparation to Painting since it will also help here. But the only thing that you'll need is.. a Guitar Pick!

I'm aware that there's a Gunpla Dismantler but why bother when Guitar Picks (especially the ordinary ones) are dirt cheap.

Ok. So here we have a snap fit part that we need to disassemble.

First thing we do is to look for an opening and carefully try to disassemble it just enough that there's an open space for our guitar pick to fit into through the seams.

An opening through the seams like this would be big enough.

Now go ahead and take your guitar pick and slide it in slowly

Slowly slide it more through the seams making sure that you're slowly opening the snap fit pieces. The trick here is to feel out where the pegs are and try to disassemble them from where you feel they're near at

And there you go! We've disassembled the kit without a sweat!

That's it for this tutorial. Once again, thanks for reading, stay tuned for the next tutorials and Happy Building :)
